Three people were arrested in three separate incidents Tuesday at Wal-Mart at Buffalo Ridge.
In the first incident at 12:19 p.m., 25-year-old Kenneth Wayne Bowers of Ocklawaha attempted to take a Turtle Wax car care kit, a Better Homes comforter and a DVD, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. He was arrested on a charge of shoplifting and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $1,000 bond.
At 2:03 p.m., 41-year-old Allison Jill Bolesta of Summerfield attempted to take jerky, resume paper, books and Clear Eyes solution, an arrest report indicated. Bolesta was arrested on a charge of petit theft and booked at the jail on $500 bond.
Deputies were called back to Wal-Mart at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday when 54-year-old Danny Arnold Dubberly of Oxford attempted to take a video DVD from the store, according to an arrest report. Dubberly has four previous retail theft convictions, according to the sheriff’s office. Dubberly was booked at the jail where bond was set at $2,000.
