A 71-year-old Water Oak woman was arrested after a confrontation with her younger live-in man friend.
Lady Lake police were called shortly before 8 p.m. Sept. 13 to a home at 911 Trevino Drive where a 65-year-old man said he had been involved in an altercation with Connie Davis.
He said she would not let him leave a bedroom. He said when he attempted to leave the bedroom, she would push him back inside, according to the arrest report. She was also keeping a phone from him, holding it behind her. He reached around and tried to take the phone from her. Davis said she would not let him leave the room “until he answered her questions,” the report said.
Davis and the man have been in a relationship for nine months, the report indicated.
Davis was arrested on a charge of battery and booked at the Lake County Jail.
