THE VILLAGES – John R. Stiles, 77, died on Wednesday, November 28, 2012. He was born on August 12, 1935 in Wadestown, W. VA. He graduated from Morgantown High School and enlisted in the Navy following graduation. He rose in rank to Master Chief Petty Officer. His career deployments took him to many places throughout the world culminating in his being selected as Master Chief Petty Office of the Command for U. S. Naval Forces Europe in 1972. John came to The Villages with his wife Billie Gene from Sedona, AZ in 2002. He is survived by his wife Billie Gene Stiles, son, John Carter Stiles of Wingo, KY, daughter, Elizabeth Ann Brewer of Oviedo, FL, brother, Glenn Stiles of Cheyenne, WY, and sisters, Lydia Teets of Richmond, VA and Naomi Diggers of Hampton, VA. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, FL.
