If businesses get a break from Obamacare, you deserve one too. That’s what we decided in the House this week, after President Obama announced just before July 4th that he wasn’t going to enforce the employer mandate for another year.
Earlier this week, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said that Obamacare has been “wonderful for America.” If you keep up with us on Facebook, you probably saw that I started hearing from many of you immediately about the uncertainty and high costs this plan has given you. When I got to Washington, I sent a letter to Harry Reid that told him a lot of the things you’ve told me. This plan is far from wonderful.
The only answer to Obamacare that is truly fair to everyone, from business owners to employees to union workers to soccer moms, is a full repeal. Until that time, we cannot allow the president to pick and choose the laws he enforces that benefit business yet unfairly burden American families.
I hear you, and my team and I are continuing to work hard to ease the burdens this legislative malpractice has caused. As always, I’m here to listen.
