The Villages Art League (VAL) and The VCDD will sponsor the 16th Annual Artists’ Showcase from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Savannah Center
Admission is free.
This fine art showcase will feature original works in watercolor, oil, pastels, colored pencil,acrylics, pen and ink, and photography. All original art will be for sale. There will also be an art demo, “Artistry in Motion” which will feature a number of VAL members who will take turns painting simultaneously on three canvases. Each of the VAL artists will rotate during the show from canvas to canvas until all three works are completed.
There will be free art related door prizes throughout the day, and you can take a chance to win original works of art. The Villages Art League invites you to visit with the artists, and browse the hundreds of original fine art paintings, photographs, prints, note cards, and more that will be available for sale.
