A 26-year-old Lady Lake man has been arrested on felony charges of battery by strangulation following a Dec. 11 incident.
Brandon L. Quimper was arrested at Ocala Regional Medical Center and later transported to the Lake County Jail.
On Dec. 11, Lady Lake police officers went to his residence to investigate a domestic violence complaint, and upon their arrival Quimper attempted to slit his own throat.
Lake EMS was immediately called to the scene. Quimper was flown by helicopter to Ocala Regional Medical Center.
An arraignment date has been set for Jan. 21.
