A Villager was charged with driving under the influence and driving on the wrong side of the road in the early morning hours of Christmas Day.
Walter A. Dunlop, 62, of Inmanmills Road, was arrested by Lady Lake Police at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday. The arrest took place at U.S. Hwy 27/441 and Griffin View Drive. According to law enforcement records, this his first DUI offense.
He was taken to the Lake County Jail where he posted $500 bond and was released with an arraignment date of Jan. 14.
