Funeral services are planned for Dr. Boris Todorovic, 41, who died in a car accident Dec. 30 in Leesburg.
Condolences and fond memories have been pouring in in honor of “Dr. Boris” who practiced at The Villages Regional Hospital and Lakeview Internal Medicine which has a Villages’ office at Laurel Manor Professional Plaza.
Services will be at noon Saturday, Jan. 11 at the Allen J. Harden Funeral Home, 1800 N. Donnelly St. in Mount Dora.
“Dr. Todorovic has been a tremendous asset to the community through his faithful service for these past 10 years and will greatly be missed. Please join us in extending thoughts and prayers to his family,” Dr. Lily Tran, chief of staff at The Villages Regional Hospital, said in an announcement to staff.
He was born Nov. 5, 1972. Todorovic studied at the University of Zagreb in Croatia.
In 2010, he was named Physician of the Year at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness.
