Richard Stanley Schaefer, Sr., 85, of The Villages, FL, died Friday, January 10, 2014. He was born March 18, 1928 in Baltimore, MD. He was a retired engineer for Bell Atlantic Telephone Co with 39 years of service. He moved to The Villages, FL from New Windsor, MD in 1993. He volunteered at The Villages Regional Hospital for 9 years and was a member of Hope Lutheran Church of The Villages, FL.

A Memorial services for Mr. Schaefer will be held at Beyers Funeral Chapel, Lady Lake, Fl. On Saturday, January 18 at 10:30 AM. Inurnment will be at Hope Lutheran Memorial Gardens, The Villages, FL. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Villagers for Hospice, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL. 32162.
