The ribbon was cut Thursday afternoon at Paradise Park A in a grand reopening ceremony.

Amenity Authority Committee John Wilcox had the honor of cutting the ribbon with an oversized pair of scissors.

Improvements at the park include:

• A new 2,300 linear foot 6-foot wide flexi-path walking path;

• New restroom building;

• Two new golf cart parking area;

• 15 benches, 14 picnic table, two game tables;

• Picnic pavilion at petanque/bocce courts;

• Landscaping and irrigation improvements;

• Outdoor chess;

• and Security fencing.

Paradise Park A is located on the Historic Side of The Villages.
