Anna May Forsythe Dennis (nee King), age 94, of Stonecrest of Summerfield, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Born in Michigan on August 9, 1919 and adopted into the family of Norman & Hattie King. Anna May married Robert E. Forsythe (deceased May 1982) on February 14, 1944. She married Harry Dennis (deceased Aug. 1999) on Oct. 17, 1998. She was a graduate of McKinley High School in Canton, OH. She was a member of North Lake Presbyterian Church and Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed playing bridge and dancing at Stonecrest and was busy with various clubs. Each of her dogs were a big part of her life. She loved being a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis (Jay) Robinson, son, Thomas (Rita) Forsythe, son, Richard (Mary Ellen) Forsythe, her grandchildren Don (Nancy) Dieffenbaugher , Nancy (Brad) Scheiring, Curt (Jeannie) Dieffenbaugher, Dale (Diane) Dieffenbaugher, Lori Miller, Linda Dischner, Thomas (Tammy) Forsythe, Barbara Wheatley, Teri (Gene) Baker, Robert (Charlotte) Forsythe, 20 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren and devoted friend of 12 years, Peter DiStephano.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, The Villages. Inurnment will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery in North Canton, Ohio.
