Edna May Barker, 89, Summerfield, FL died on Monday, February 24, 2014. She was born in Palmyra, NY and moved to Summerfield from Seneca Falls, NY in 1990. She was a research director for Sarah Coventry Jewelry, a member of Lady Lake United Methodist Church and a member of the Rebecca Order of the Eastern Star in New York. She was predeceased by her husband William H. Barker, son William David Barker; sister Anna Gruschow and brother Thomas I. Wallace. Survivors include her daughter Linda Lee Pepperman, Summerfield, FL; sisters: Laura (Glenn) Terry, Clyde, NY; Caroline (Raymond) Lievens, Naples, FL and Elsie Bushor, Dade City, FL; 4 grandsons and 2 great grandchildren. Memorial services for Edna May Barker will be held at the Lady Lake Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Operation Shoebox, Belleview or Hospice of Marion County.
