Someone, or a criminal team, committed commercial burglary, grand theft and criminal mischief between 4 p.m., Thursday, March 13 and 5:50 a.m., Friday, March 14, at Horizon Academy, 365 Marion Oaks Drive, Ocala, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators learned that after breaking into the school, the suspect(s) stole cash and caused more than $1,000 in damage to windows and a vending machine.
At this time, there are no suspect(s). If you saw or heard anything suspicious or saw anyone between the above times on the school’s campus – you are asked to let the
Marion County Sheriff’s Office know.
“If you saw someone bragging about the crime on social media, again, please let detectives know,” said Judge Cochran of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
