To the Editor:
I would like to relate two experiences I had today. Too friendly: a vehicle obviously driven by a “visitor” was stopped at the Belvedere entrance gate, and could not advance, so the driver of the second car with an out-of-state registration, offered her entrance card so that the first driver could enter.
Too unfriendly: As we passed a bicyclist riding on the road, my daughter suggested it might safer for everyone if he were riding on the multi-modal path. He responded with the All-American finger salute!
What has happened to our slice of heaven?
