I am confused why the powers to be in the villages talk the talk but do not walk the walk.Thousands have attended the AARP driving class but over 70% of drivers refuse to follow state laws .A major problem is lack of enforcement .
The newly formed AAC requested in-put for the new transportation trails but failed to see the safety factor for night time driving that i proposed , installing yellow reflectors in the middle of the trail for much needed safety. these devices ” light up ” the main roads at night but our trails north of 466 with the exception of the Saddlebrook trail do not have these reflectors .
So the question is why do the trails on the south side of 466 see the need for increased night time driving ( with no AAC ) by installing these yellow reflectors in the middle of the trails mostly on curves and approaches to and through tunnels ? No we do not need a stripe to guide driving but we do need those reflectors for the Safety of night time driving.
