Hank and Diane Coennen of the Village of Duval love their Honda Goldwing.

“We ride together and we are both very comfortable,” Diane Coennen said.

The big motorcycles were on display Friday evening at Lake Sumter Landing by The Villages Goldwing Association.

“These are the non-macho bikes,” said club president, Jim Misciagno. “These are couples’ bikes,”

He said the bikes are big, clean, quiet and comfortable.

“Very comfortable,” he added.

The Goldwing is perfect for couples who want to get out and ride, Misciagno said.

The club has 160 members.

Total sales are more than 640,000 “Wings,” most of them in the U.S. market.
