Theresa M. McFadden, 72, The Villages, FL passed away March 29, 2014 at the Villages Hospice House. Theresa was born in Summerton SC. With her father being in the military and serving throughout Europe, she attended various schools throughout Europe and finished her education in New Jersey. She entered the Civil Service after high school and worked for over 35 years before retiring in Omaha, Ne. in 1996. After moving to the Villages, Fl. in 2000, she unselfishly volunteered over 12,000 hours of her time to the Villages Regional Hospital Auxiliary. Her duties consisted of various positions including office manager and President of the Auxiliary for several years. She was voted in for the award of “Lifetime Honorary Member of the Auxiliary”. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Coron. Survivors include her beloved Husband of 53 years: Daniel F McFadden Jr.; Daughter: Mary Ellrott of Omaha, Ne. Son: Daniel F. McFadden III of Omaha, Ne.; 4 grandchildren: Michael McFadden, Kyle, Brandon, and Kelsey Hanna; 3 great grandchildren; Cousins: Carol Louise James, and Linda Bennett. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church at 8:30 AM on Tuesday, April 8, 2014. Immediately following, a Celebration of Life will be held from 9:30-10:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall with refreshments. Graveside Services will be held at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell on April 8th at 11:30. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Villagers for Hospice, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162. Thank you to all the many special friends that held a special place in Theresa’s heart.
