David Abrams, 89, of The Villages, FL passed away on Monday, April 7, 2014 at The Villages Regional Hospital. Mr. Abrams was born in Syracuse, NY. He worked and raised his family in Rochester, NY before moving to Florida. He moved to The Villages from Orlando, FL in 2002. He served in the US Army Air Corps and was a member of Temple Shalom in Oxford, FL. Mr. Abrams is survived by his daughter, Laurie Duquette; son, Alan Scott (Cathy) Abrams; 2 grandsons, Randy Louis Eisner and Brian Lawrence Eisner; and significant other, Sheryl Cohen. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Marjorie Cohen Abrams. A Funeral Service for Mr. Abrams will be held at Temple Shalom in Oxford, FL at 11am on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 with committal and military honors to follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at 1:30pm.
