Two sitting Community Development District supervisors have filed paperwork to hold onto their seats in elections later this year.
Village of Alhambra resident Bryan T. Lifsey was chosen in March to fill Seat 1 on CDD 2. He was selected to fill a seat vacated by Robert Houston who moved out of the district.
On Friday, Lifsey filed paperwork with the Sumter County Supervisor of Elections Office to run for his seat.
Meanwhile, Ron McMahon, who currently serves as chairman of CDD 7 also filed paperwork Friday to run for his seat.
