Michael Blaine Helmick, 38, of Ocklawaha, is in the Marion County Jail to face two counts of capital sex battery. The 10-year-old victim told detectives Helmick had inappropriate contact at least twice. Helmick told detectives
“I’m not the normal guy that everyone thinks I am.” Helmick admitted to committing certain illegal actions towards the juvenile victim.
