A 50-year-old Wildwood woman was arrested early Saturday morning on a charge of battery.
Heather Roberta Chase told a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy she had spent the night out drinking with friends and when she got home she got into a verbal fight with a male at her home that turned into a physical altercation, according to the arrest report.
She was placed under arrest and transported to the Sumter County Detention Center.
