A Villager is facing a charge of aggravated battery of a law enforcement officer following her arrest Sunday morning.
Marcia N. Vandersnick, 68, was arrested at 11:05 a.m. Sunday after allegedly throwing a plate at and later striking a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy.
The deputy had been called to a home on Ramos Drive in reference to a domestic disturbance, according to the arrest report.
Vandersnick is facing charges of battery, aggravated battery of a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest with violence.
She was transported to the Sumter County Detention Center where bond was set at $10,500.
