The future of the representation of Community Development District 4 on the Amenity Authority Committee was raised Friday at the CDD 4 meeting.

Rich Lambrecht, a CDD 4 supervisor and AAC member, remains hospitalized after suffering a stroke.

Fellow CDD 4 Supervisor Paul Kelly suggested that CDD 4 might be facing a lack of representation on the AAC due to Lambrecht’s uncertain future participation.

District Manager Janet Tutt said that many of the items on the AAC agenda are of a communitywide nature and not necessarily specific to CDD 4.

CDD 4 Chairman Don Deakin said he regularly attends AAC meetings and speaks out at them as necessary. He said that Kelly was welcome to attend AAC meetings as well.

“I understand that, but we don’t get to vote,” Kelly said.

Lambrecht’s term on the AAC runs through 2016.

If Lambrecht resigns, CDD 4 will choose a replacement for his seat on the AAC.
