A 19-year-old Belleview man was arrested by Alachua police after the vehicle he was driving nearly struck the rear of a patrol car.
Joshua Tanon was taken into custody Saturday night on suspicion of driving under the influence. He reportedly failed field sobriety tests.
He was booked at the Alachua County Jail and released after posting bond.
