Wildwood utility director heading to Belleview

The city of Wildwood’s utility director Bruce Phillips is to become the new director of public works in Belleview.

Phillips, a resident of Lady Lake, will be taking the position left vacant when longtime Belleview public works director Dennis Monroe was killed in a plane crash earlier this year.

Phillips is a former Ocala city engineer and assistant city manager.  He had been the utility director at Wildwood for two years.
