A 30-year-old woman found to be in possession of a stolen SECO iPad is also facing drug charges following her arrest Wednesday by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
The iPad had been stolen from a SECO employee’s car. The iPad had both a SECO logo and Florida State University emblem on it.
Lehia Kay Gray of Dade City is accused of attempting to sell the iPad.
When deputies made contact with her during a traffic stop they also discovered a glass pipe with methamphetamine residue in addition to the iPad.
Gray told deputies another party had asked her to sell the iPad, but she indicated she knew the item had been stolen.
She is facing a felony charge of dealing in stolen property, a felony charge of methamphetamine possession and misdemeanor charges of theft and possession of drug equipment.
