Carol Ann Pinkowski, 74, The Villages, FL passed away on Wednesday, June 18,2014. Beloved wife of the late Richard Pinkowski. Loving and cherished mother to Joseph Zagarella, Debra Hodge, and John Zagarella. Carol worked in the restaurant industry and medical office after graduating from Cathedral H.S., NYC. After retirement she truly enjoyed her life, family and friends in The Villages, especially the girls from the pool and card games. Carol was most proud of her family, preparing for them and spending precious time together, especially the holidays. She also leaves her adored grandchildren: Peter Miceli, Nikolas Zagarella, Tyler Zagarella, and Samantha Hodge. Cherished family members also include her sister Maureen Browne (NY), brother and sister-in-law Lawrence and Jean Brett (FL), daughter in laws Tracey and Karen Zagarella and son-in-law Kenneth Hodge, nieces and nephews Patricia and Patrick O’Reilly, Darlene and Michael Owens, the late Gail Castiner and Lawrence and Mary Ann Brett and their families. A mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 5323 E. County Rd. 462, Wildwood, FL 34785 at 10:00 am. A family service will be held at St. Dennis Church in N.Y. In keeping with Carol’s generous and loving spirit, the family requests that you cook for your family, laugh, enjoy, and keep them close.
