Villagers who enjoy fireworks might want to consider heading down to Lake Panasoffkee Recreation Park on Saturday.
The Independence Day celebration comes one day after Fourth of July.
Lake Panasoffkee boasts of “one of the best fireworks displays in Florida.”
From 4 to 9:30 p.m. those attending the event can enjoy food, a live band, water slides, a rock climb, mechanical bull and power jump.
The event is sponsored by the Lake Panasoffkee Improvement Association.
