A concern about a sweaty bicyclist jumping into swimming pools in The Villages, was raised Friday morning by Community Development District 2 Chairman Bob Gilmartin.
The bicyclist has jumped into the pool at Tierra Del Sol at least four times, Gilmartin said. He said it was witnessed by his wife and a group of her friends. The cyclist was fully clothed including his cycling shoes, Gilmartin said.
It is believed to have happened at other swimming pools in The Villages also, Gilmartin said.
“Presumably he is doing this to cool off. But he is all sweaty and hasn’t taken a shower,” Gilmartin said.
It was agreed to make Recreation Department officials aware of the situation.
