William ‘Bill’ John Krausnick

William “Bill” John Krausnick, 59, The Villages, Florida passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014. Bill was a computer operator retiring from OCM BOCES in the New York Education System. He and Kathy moved to Florida after retirement. Bill loved his family, grandsons, friends and Classic Rock music. He passed the time walking, bicycling and doing puzzles. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Krausnick and his sister, Anne Krausnick. He is survived by his wife, Kathy DeWitt Krausnick; son, Matthew (Melissa) Krausnick, Syracuse, NY; grandsons, David and Jason Krausnick; mother, Frances Krausnick; brother, Edward (Linda) Krausnick, Ocala, FL; sisters, Lorraine Krausnick, The Villages, Dolores (John) Ogden, Leesburg, FL and several nieces and nephews. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Marion County, P. O. Box 4860, Ocala, FL 34478-4860, Attn: Fund Development. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 11 AM in the chapel of the funeral home with Chaplain Herb Agee officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Wednesday at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd., The Villages, Florida.
