A woman was arrested at Gator Joe’s in Ocklawaha on Sunday after she fought with a male companion and law enforcement officers who tried to take her into custody.
Krystal Tison, 26, is facing charges of battery on a law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct, following her arrest by Marion County sheriff’s deputies.
She and her male companion, Jason Alan Hanselman, 38, were found arguing outside Gator Joe’s after having caused a disturbance inside.
When the deputy was attempting to remove her from the scene, Tison spit on him, according to the arrest report. She had to be restrained with a spit mask.
Hanselman was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest without violence.
Both were transported to the Marion County Jail.
