The Wildwood Police Department flag was lowered to half staff Wednesday in honor of fallen communications worker Paula Watson.
Watson was a veteran dispatcher having worked many years with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and Tavares Police Department before joining the Wildwood Police Department in 2013.
Watson called in sick Monday and was later transported to Waterman Hospital where she passed away.
