James “Whitey” Bulger, the famed Boston crime boss, is now an inmate at Coleman Federal Correctional Center in Sumter County.
Bulger, 85, is serving two life sentences after a 2013 racketeering conviction tying him to 11 murders and other gangland crimes in the 1970s and ’80s.
Bulger still faces a Florida murder charge in the 1982 killing of gambling executive John Callahan, who lived in a Boston suburb.
