Congressman Rich Nugent will be joining in the ribbon-cutting and dedication Saturday of House of Hope in Wildwood, a residential addiction treatment center for men located at 4738 NE 49th Blvd.

The community is invited to join in the event, which includes a picnic on the grounds of House of Hope from noon to 4 p.m.

House of Hope, formerly called Youth Challenge of Florida, is a 28-acre campus that includes seven extremely rundown buildings, including a print shop.

The print shop is used by the residents to print t-shirts which are sold at various locations in the area to raise funds to help the ministry be self-supporting.

The renovation of the print shop was completed in mid-June and work has begun on one of the dormitories and the dining hall.
