The daughter of a Spruce Creek South woman is awaiting a liver transplant.

Robin Ray-Beaver is the daughter of Kathleen Ray who has lived in Spruce Creek for 10 years.

She is also the niece of  Barb Delurey, a Canadian who winters in Spruce Creek.

“Robin is the sweetest and kindest person you will ever meet. She has struggled with her health for a few years now, going through many surgeries and has suffered from mini strokes,” Delurey said.

“After all she has been through this should be her last battle, the new liver should allow her to finally have a normal life! Due to her health she has needed assistance and her loving husband has been staying home to take care of her which is amazing but also means they are just getting by financially as it is,” Delurey said.

The average liver transplant costs approximately $575,000.

The family says any support you might be able to provide would be appreciated. The link to a fundraising site is below:
