Local cyclists win medals at Senior Games competition in Gainesville

Cyclists from both villages’ bicycle clubs, the Sumter Landing Bicycle Club and The Villages Bicycle Club on Oct. 3 won five gold medals at the Florida Sports Foundation Local Senior Games held in Gainesville at the Auto-Plus Raceway. The Local Senior games are qualifiers for the Florida Senior Games State Championships held in December.
