
A new supervisor was sworn in Friday morning in Community Development District 6.
Donna Kempa was elected Nov. 4 to replace supervisor Russ D’Emidio.
Also in CDD 6, Supervisor Sally Moss was chosen to continue to serve as chairman of the CDD 6 Board of Supervisors. Peter Moeller was chosen to serve as vice chairman.
Moss asked that a letter of appreciation be sent to D’Emidio in recognition of his past service.
Moss and Moeller also were sworn in for another term. They were both unopposed in their re-election bids.
CDD 8

Two new supervisors were sworn in at Friday’s CDD 8 meeting, Victor Ray and Ray Banks.
Ray replaces Kelly Flores who did not run for the seat. Banks defeated Duane Johnson.
Sal Torname was elected chairman of CDD 8. He succeeds Dennis Hayes as chairman.
Ray was elected vice chairman.
CDD 7

Newly elected supervisor Dennis Broedlin took the oath of office Friday morning at the CDD 7 meeting.
The supervisor that he has replaced, Niles Getz, was present at the meeting to welcome Broedlin to the board. Getz did not seek another term on CDD 7.
Ron McMahon will continue to carry the gavel as CDD 7 chairman. Ron Ruggeri will continue to serve as vice chairman.
CDD 5

Walter Martin will continue to serve as chairman of the Community Development District 5 Board of Supervisors.
He was chosen by his fellow supervisors Friday morning to continue in that capacity. Supervisor Gary Kadow will continue to serve as vice chairman.
Taking the oath as a result of their re-election to the board on Nov. 4 were supervisors Kadow and Jerry Knoll.
