The once wildly popular Vic Embers restaurant in Leesburg will not reopen.
The venerable restaurant, founded in 1988, was badly damaged by fire nearly a year ago.
The restaurant was extremely popular with early Villagers at a time when The Villages offered few dining choices.
The property will reportedly be sold and the building will be torn down, possibly this month.
