Supporters of an enclosed swimming pool could be showing up in large numbers at Wednesday’s Amenity Authority Committee meeting.
The AAC meets at 9 a.m. at Savannah Center.
AAC member Carl Bell said support for the enclosed swimming pool is gaining momentum.
Last month, members of the Villages Aquatic Swim Team and others voiced their support for the enclosed pool for which Bell has become the champion.
“I think it will be an interesting meeting,” Bell said.
His ideal location for the enclosed pool would be at El Santiago which has a large parking lot which could become home to the facility.
“It’s the right place,” Bell said.
