A 41-year-old woman was arrested in the Villages of Parkwood following a dispute with a neighbor Saturday afternoon.
Jennifer Lynn Thomas of 12426 NE 52nd Loop was arrested on a charge of resisting a police officer at 3:38 p.m. Saturday.
A Wildwood police officer was investigating a complaint that Thomas had stood at a neighbor’s driveway and frantically waved her arms. The neighbor had called 911.
But Thomas accused her neighbor of calling her names and wanted the neighbor arrested, according to a police report.
While speaking with the police officer, Thomas allegedly pointed her finger at the officer’s eye and then refused to stop when ordered to by the officer.
After she had been handcuffed and placed in the back of the patrol car, Thomas slipped out of the handcuffs, the arrest report indicated.
She was transported to the Sumter County Jail where bond was set at $1,000.
