A 49-year-old Ocala man was killed when he was struck Tuesday night by a Ford Explorer.
Rogelio Estrada had been walking southbound on the west shoulder of NW 110th Avenue north of NW 7th Street in Ocala when he was struck by the vehicle driven by 16-year-old Dustin Houlker of Ocala. Houlker was not injured.
Two passengers in his vehicle, 16-year-old Ryan Foster and 14-year-old Tyler Houlker both of Ocala, also escaped injury, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
