A Villager was transported to Ocala Regional Medical Center after a golf cart accident at 11:16 a.m. Friday at Churchill Downs and Belvedere Boulevard, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The man fell out of the cart and hit his head, a spokesman with the sheriff’s office indicated. His golf cart was the only vehicle involved.
