A 73-year-old Village of Santo Domingo man is facing a charge of battery after he allegedly punched a neighbor in the face.
James Davis Huber who lives on Dehoyos Place allegedly went to his neighbor’s home on Chaparral Drive at 5 p.m. Friday and struck the neighbor in the face giving him a bloody lip, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
Huber began arguing with the other man, telling him he was “tired” of his “ongoing harassment,” the arrest report indicated.
After striking the man in the face, Huber returned to his residence.
He was arrested on a charge of battery and transported to the Sumter County Detention Center where he later posted $1,000 bond and was released.
