Well-known Villages artist Arrachme is recovering from an automobile accident this past week in the TJ Maxx parking lot at Rolling Acres shopping plaza.
Arrachme Uddin, 55, had been a passenger in a car driven by her husband, 67-year-old Peter Collins of the Village of Bonita, shortly before 2 p.m. Friday, according to an accident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
Collins’ car collided with a vehicle driven by Dahl W. Knaus, 75, of The Villages.
Arrachme was transported from the scene of the accident by Lake EMS. She was taken to The Villages Regional Hospital where she was treated and released.
Arrachme is reportedly on the mend.
The air bag in her car deployed during the accident.
Her husband was ticketed on a charge of careless driving, the accident report indicated.
