Lady Lake man angry over cable cutoff, allegedly swings ax

A 41-year-old Lady Lake man reportedly angry about the shutoff of cable service at his residence, was arrested after he allegedly swung an ax at another man.

Jeffrey Alan Zimmerman of 304 W. Rose Lane, is facing charges of domestic aggravated assault and engaging in a criminal offense with a weapon following the incident Tuesday afternoon at his residence.

The victim told a Lady Lake police officer that Zimmerman was intoxicated when he swung the ax at him, according to the arrest report. Zimmerman was angry about the shutoff of cable service, the victim told police.

Zimmerman is beind held on $10,000 bond at the Lake County Jail.
