A 28-year-old Massachusetts man and his passenger escaped injury when he rolled over a golf cart at 1 a.m. in The Villages.
Gregory M. Nelson of Plymouth, Mass. was behind the wheel of the golf cart Feb. 24 on Del Mar Drive and Panama Place, according to an accident report released Wednesday by the Lady Lake Police Department.
He had missed a turn when he attempted to make a U-Turn, struck the curb and lost control of the vehicle, the accident report indicated.
Julie A. Layton, 29, of Stoughton, Mass. had been a passenger in the golf cart.
The golf cart was towed from the scene by Kling Towing.
