Steve George added 4 hits including 2 doubles and Don Geisler added 3 hits. Everyone on the Leafs had at least 2 hits. The Canes were led by Jim Kitzler’s perfect 4 hit day including 2 rbi’s. Jay Webb chipped in 3 hits with 3 rbi’s and Dave Norval and Tom Hauser had 3 hits apiece. Sub Bill Cecil had a 3 run OTF Homer for the Canes. The impressive win puts the Leafs at 11-2, while the Canes drop to 4-10.

Hank Culley hit 2, 3 run OTF Homers to lead the Bears 6th straight victory. Hank has 11 home runs on the year now. Keith Denmeade added his 2nd OTF Homer of the season including 3 rbi’s. Roy Hern and John Van Arnhem led the Isles with a perfect 3 hit day, while Glen Forson added 4 rbi’s. The Bears move to 10-5, while the Isles drop to 4-8.
Avalanche 16 Flyers 10
The Av’s jumped out to a 8-0 lead and never looked back. They were led Player of the Day, Gary Grodzicki, who had a perfect 4 hit day including a homer, 2 doubles and 5 rbi’s. He also made several great plays at shortstop. 6 other Av’s had 3 hits apiece including Kevin Halbmaier, 3 doubles, and Don Barnes 3 rbi’s. The Flyers were led by Bill Warble’s 3 hit day including 2 rbi’s. The Av’s move to 5-9, while the Flyers drop to 2-12.
Relics 23 Wings 12
The Relics jumped out to 10-0 lead then cruised to the victory. The Relics were lead by that old veteran, Beaver Burch, who had a perfect 4 hit day including 4 rbi’s. Glenn Lansky helped out with 3 hits, 5 rbi’s, including a home run. Dale Travis added 3 hits and sub John Wick had 3 hits and 3 rbi’s. Manager Mike Arseneau led the slumping Wings with 3 hits and 2 rbi’s. Sub Hank Culley hit a 2 run OTF Homer for the Wings. The Relics snapped a 2 game losing streak and moved to 10-4, tied for 2nd place and
the Wings dropped to 6-8.
