Babiarz scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning and beat Mulberry on Jeff Stein’s walk off single that followed a triple from Jack Finley and an intentional walk to Bob Kelly. Finley had 2 hits, 2 Sac Flys and 4 RBI’s. In addition, Ed Moriarity, Felix Rodriquez and Jerry Jensen all added 3 hits. Mulberry was led by Dick Smith(2 RBI’s),Tom Ramberg(3 RBI’s) and pitcher Rick Stenson(2 RBI’s) who all had 3 hits.

3Amigos helped keep Mulberry in first place by beating Fross. They were led by Mark Hildebrand and Dave Hinkley who both had 4 hits and 3 RBI’s while John Reedy chipped in with 3 hits and 3 RBI’s. Fross was led by pitcher Jim Joseph, Dave Pope(3 RBI’s) and sub Phil Palma who all had 3 hits.
IHOP 22 HUMANA 10
IHOP scored in every inning to beat Humana. They were led by John Buchanan’s 5 hit day, while Bob Cramer added 4 hits. In addition Jim Lambert, Al DuBuc and Will Kutter(2 run homer) all added 3 hits. In the loss Humana got 3 hits from Joe Cataldi and Bob Roth.
ARDEN 23 HARLAN 17
Arden scored 6 runs in the 7th inning to pull out the victory. They were led by Gary Bennett, Dave Blandford and Tim Carroll who all had 4 hits. Don Mulneix, Tom Bolte and Doug Nantais all chipped in with 3 hits. Harlan had a big day from Roy Warter who had a triple and a 2 run homer as part of his 4 for 4 day. Manny Sanchez was also 4 for 4 while Chick Cicatelli, Ken Atkinson, Jim Rogers and Craig Dahlquist all added 3 hits.
SRG 19 PERKINS 11
Scott Marshall had a big day for SRG going a single short of the cycle, powering a 3 run homer, 2 triples and a double leading to 6 RBI’s. Pat Perkins added 4 hits in the win while Tim Wilcox, Randy Bowen and manager Ray Pinheiro were all 3 for 4 with 7 RBI’s between them. In the loss Perkins got 4 hits each from Gordie Lewis and Tim Healy.
SYNERGY 10 PAUL DAVIS RESTORATION 9
Synergy built aa 10-0 led after 3 innings and just held on for the 1 run victory. Jim Creed and pitcher Harold Holiman both had 3 hits and 2 RBI’s in the win, while 4 other players had 2 hits each. Paul Davis was led by Mike Daly’s(2 RBI’s) 3 hits while Mac McCumbee, Sam Patrick and pitcher Bob Marano each had 2 hits and 2 RBI’s.
