An assisted living facility that could include 229 units is being considered for property between the Village of La Zamora and Spring Arbor Village on County Road 466.
Lumen Park would be constructed in two phases on 30 acres of land located 1,000 feet east of the Sumter County line. The first phase would consist of an assisted/independent living facility building of approximately 151,790 square feet with a total of 129 units. The second phase would consist of approximately 120,000 square feet with 100 units.
A possible future phase would include a medical/professional building.
The proposal will be discussed at 5 p.m. Monday, April 20 in a special meeting of the Lady Lake Commission.
