The 140-voice Villages Pops Chorus and The Villages Swing Band will combine for a one-of-a-kind concert called “Come Fly With Me Us!” on Monday at North Lake Presbyterian Church.
Showtimes are 3:30 and 7 p.m. All tickets are $12 and available at all Villages Box Office locations, online and at the door.
The two groups will combine talents on seven songs including “Come Fly With Me”, “Moonlight Serenade”, and a medley of George Gershwin songs. The groups will also perform five songs individually. The Pops Chorus songs include “Send In the Clowns”, “The Days of Wine and Roses”, and “Since I Fell for You”. The Swing Band playlist includes “In the Mood”, “Take 5”, and a medley from the Broadway hit “Chicago.” The finale will be a medley of patriotic songs by George M. Cohan, including “Yankee Doodle Dandy”, “Over There”, and “You’re a Grand Old Flag.”
